ATLANTA (CelebrityAccess) — Sometimes, a little human kindness pays off. It did for one man, who two weeks ago, stopped to help Migos rapper Offset from a wrecked car.
According to ABC News, Offset, whose real name is Kiari Cephus, was driving his Dodge Challenger in Atlanta on May 17th when the accident occurred. J’Mmar Coleman, a local resident who was walking to work, saw the crash and came to Offset’s rescue.
After the accident, Offset shared a picture of his Challenger, which was thoroughly trashed, as well as a photo of himself from the emergency room with a neck brace, bloody mouth and visible wounds on his arms.
“This is why I thank God Every day. I could have been dead from this accident, thank you all for you (sic) prayers,” Offset wrote in a tweet accompanying the images.
Now, two weeks later, Offset reportedly thanked Coleman for his help by purchasing him a new car so that he no longer has to walk. Offset posted a photo on his Instagram showing him posing in front of a new Nissan Altima with Coleman.
“This my boy … saved my life when I had that accident. He was the only one who seen it, help me get out the car, help me walk, help me get to where I needed to get to,” Offset explained. “So, I bought my boy a car ’cause, you know, he was walking to work when he saved my life. God is good.”
