NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — As digital performance rights organization Merlin celebrates its 10th anniversary as a going concern, the company announced that it was expanding its staff with the addition of three new employees.

Marta de la Hoz has been named as Merlin’s Head of Reporting and will oversee the integration, processing and analysis of reporting from DSPs to Merlin member labels.

She joins the organization from IronGroup and previously led the UK royalties team at PIAS.

Also joining the Merlin team is Chaida Kapfunde, who will oversee Merlin’s IT infrastructure, as well as leading product development across the company’s internal software platform. Before joining Merlin, she was EMEA Program Manager at video advertising software company Videolog,

Both del la Hoz and Kapfunde will report to Merlin’s Chief Financial Officer, Helen Alexander.

Rounding out the new hires is Quentin Martins, who has joined Merlin’s Member Operations Group, where he will work alongside the department’s head, Chris Tarbet. Martins is also a veteran of PIAS, and did stints at labels Full Time Hobby, Hassel Records and Phoenix Music International as well.

“Merlin US welcomes our new colleagues and the expertise they bring to the organization and to our members, in America and across the globe. As an ever increasing number of significant American independents participate in Merlin agreements, it’s a great benefit to add executives the level of Marta, Chaida and Quentin ensuring that Merlin continues to be well resourced and providing the best possible service in support of our members’ success in the digital market,” Jim Mahoney, general manager of Merlin US said in a presser announcing the hires.
