GLENDALE, Ariz. (CelebrityAccess) Just as Taylor Swift kicked off her world tour at the University of Phoenix Stadium last night, she got a good-luck gift from one of her biggest frienimies, Katy Perry.
The gift was a note, with an actual olive branch that was delivered to Swift backstage, who was kicking off her Reputation tour at the Glendale, Ariz., stadium. Swift posted the gift on Instagram, and internet sleuths deciphered the first line of the note as ““I’ve been doing some reflecting on past miscommunication and hurt feelings between us.”

Perry and Swift apparently lost their friendship because of a tour-related issue, with Swift saying in an interview that an unnamed pop star “basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour.”
Apparently, Perry had recruited three dancers that were on tour with Swift, a theory confirmed by one of the dancers, Lockhart Browlie, who said, “We weren’t really dancing on Taylor’s tour anyway, so I got a little bored.”
The rift allegedly inspired Swift’s song “Bad Blood.”
Perry fired back (again, apparently) with a tweet saying, “Watch out for the Regina George in sheep’s clothing,” a reference to the villain of the movie (and now Broadway musical) “Mean Girls,” a high school girl that is nice to everybody’s face but manipulates their images negatively behind their backs.
Last year, Perry told talk show host James Cordon, “I tried to talk to her about it and she wouldn’t speak to me. She started it, and it’s time for her to finish it.” The conspiracy theories continues, with Swift releasing her back catalog on Spotify the same day Perry released her new album but Perry said, soon afterward, “I forgive [Swift], and I’m sorry for anything I ever did, and I hope the same from her.”
As for the show itself, the Arizona Republic gave it a rousing review.
As for ticket sales, the paper noted the show included a record-breaking capacity crowd of 59,157.
