NEW YORK, NY (CelebrityAccess) – Warner Music Group has promoted Alex Kamins to Vice President, Global Digital Business Development – Innovation & Emerging Technology.
The promotion will see Kamins making the move from WBG’s New York headquarters to its Los Angeles offices to lead the company’s West Coast-based partnerships and drive new digital media and business diversification opportunities.
Kamins joined WMG in 2013 as an Associate Director in the Office of the CEO, however, most recently served as Senior Director, Digital Strategy & Business Development, where he spearheaded various partnerships including the first major label license deals with Musical.ly and Melody VR, as well as WMG’s membership in seed accelerator Techstars Music.
“We’re always looking to establish partnerships with the most innovative tech companies and startups, and for the past several years Alex has played a critical role at WMG by keeping a pulse on what’s new and next in the industry,” said Jeff Bronikowski, SVP, Global Digital Business Development – Head of Innovation & Emerging Technology.

Kamins’ new role is effective immediately.
