Former CNN Anchor Reid Collins Dies

(CelebrityAccess) Reid Collins, 88, former CNN anchor, has died in his sleep in Virginia April 19, according to the news network.

The award-winning Collins joined the network, in 1985 and retired July 1996. He covered politics, space, papal funerals and other worldwide events.

Before joining CNN he worked at CBS News 1965-85, where he anchored CBS’ roundup radio broadcast.
