BOONE, NC (CelebrityAccess) — One person was arrested and two others cited for drug offenses after police in North Carolina allege that they found controlled substances during a search of rap group Migos’s tour bus.
According to the Charlotte Observer, police pulled the bus offer following a concert at Holmes Convocation Center on the campus of Appalachian State University after officers with the Boone Police Department working security at the concert reported smelling marijuana coming from the tour bus.
The bus was subsequently stopped and search by on N.C. Highway 105, where authorities say they found 420 grams of marijuana, 26 ounces of codeine, and Xanax, according to the Greensboro News & Record.
Jharon Ahmad Murphy, 26 of Snellville, Ga., was charged with felony possession of marijuana with intent to sell/deliver and misdemeanor possession of a Schedule V controlled substance, reported the News & Record.
Two other men were cited for drug offenses as well. Daryl Irvon McPherson, 25, of Cleveland, was cited for misdemeanor possession of marijuana and codeine, while Dominic Kevin Spigner, 26, of Smyrna, Ga., was cited for misdemeanor possession of Xanax.
None of the individuals charged in connection with the search were members of the rap group.
