CUPERTINO, CA (CelebrityAccess) — Ahead of the release of the iteration of their operating system, Apple Music announced plans to highlight their music video feature by giving its own dedicated section.
Music videos can now be found under the primary “browse” tab of the Music app, making the video selection more accessible and allowing Apple Music to highlight new additions and exclusive videos, as well as providing curated playlists.
Apple says the new, ad-free, curated video service makes their platform “best music video-watching experience available anywhere.”
As a part of the launch hoopla, Apple Music will debut exclusive videos from a number of artists, including Beck’s “Colors” and A Tribe Called Quest’s “The Space Program.”
Apple’s new focus on videos comes as rival Spotify is in the final countdown for the launch of their much-anticipated public listing on April 3rd. The news also comes as Spotify teases the debut of Taylor Swift premiers the new music video for her single “Delicate” on the streaming platform.
