MONTREAL, Quebec (CelebrityAccess) — Singer Pink pulled out of her scheduled performance at the Bell Centre in Montreal on Friday, citing a bout of the flu.
In a post on her social media, Pink wrote:
“I am absolutely GUTTED to announce that Tomorrow’s show, March 23rd, will be postponed. I will absolutely be back to perform for you all and I’m grateful for you wanting to come and be with us at all.
“Our entire family has been battling this awful virus/flu for two weeks now, and I have battled my way through shows because postponing sucks. I’m really sorry and know that I have done everything I could to avoid this. Carey’s been sent home with the flu while me and the kids battle this virus. I wish anyone out there going through this healing vibes and big hugs.”
The Grammy Award-winning artist pledged that she’d return to Montreal to make up the date, but at present, no rescheduled show has been announced.
In a separate social media post, the show’s promoter, Evenko, counseled fans to hold on to their tickets while they settle on a new date.
Pink is currently on the road for her Beautiful Trauma world tour. Her next scheduled show is set for Sunday, March 25th at the recently opened Little Caesars Arena in Motor City.
