BENIDORM, Spain (CelebrityAccess) — The Music Promoters Association of Spain (APM), which represents more than 80% of music producers & promoters of the live music sector in the country, has joined the European Live Music Association (ELMA).
The announcement of the partnership came during the 18th General Assembly of the Association in the Spanish city of Benidorm, during which members voted for the tie-up between the two organizations.
The European Live Music Association (ELMA) launched in 2015 as an International Non-For-Profit Association that operates as an umbrella organization between European trade associations, networks, companies and professionals to promote the growth of the live music sector in the EU.
“Promoters not only create culture and socialization but they support the economy,” Vincenzo Spera, president of Elma and Assomusica said. “We are the heart of the live music sector and, however, until now we had no voice in the European Union”
