NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — The Madison Square Garden Company has appointed noted entertainment exec Victoria Parker as Executive Vice President of MSG Productions.
She will manage all financial and operational matters; identify and build key strategic relationships and collaborate with MSG’s marketing and sales executives to ensure the successful execution of the company’s theatrical productions, the company said.
She will assume her new duties at MSG effective as of March 12th.
Ms. Parker joins the company from Verizon’s Oath Studios, where she served as head of the company’s creative strategy. While at Verizon, she oversaw the development of the go-to-market strategy for the company’s mobile-only entertainment service.
Prior to Verizon, Ms. Parker spent 10 years at The Weinstein Company, where she served as vice president of corporate affairs and senior vice president of theatrical productions. Her tenure at TWC included a collaboration with MSG where she served as executive producer on “12-12-12,” the highly successful Madison Square Garden benefit concert that raised more than $50 million for the victims of Hurricane Sandy.
She also led TWC’s development of a live entertainment unit, which launched productions such as Finding Neverland; the New York Spring Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes and various music videos, concept albums, and documentaries.
