NASHVILLE (CelebrityAccess) Chris Stapleton, no less than 24 hours after winning three Grammy Awards and a touted performance on “Saturday Night Live,” has announced his 2018 tour dates.
The second round of the “All-American Road Show” includes newly confirmed shows at New York’s Madison Square Garden, Inglewood, Calif.’s Forum and Chicago’s Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre. The Live Nation tour will include guests Marty Stuart and Brent Cobb.
Stapleton won Best Country Album for From A Room: Volume 1, Best Country Song for “Broken Halos” and Best Country Solo Performance for “Either Way” at last night’s Grammy Awards show in New York City, as well as performing on it with Emmylou Harris in dedication to Tom Petty. That followed a previous evening’s critically acclaimed performance with Sturgill Simpson on “Saturday Night Live.”
Not only that, but the tour arrives just days after Justin Timberlake’s new song featuring Stapleton dropped. “Say Something” has more than 8.3 million views on YouTube after being uploaded Jan. 25.
The tour kicks off in Brandon, Mo., at Brandon Amphitheater June 16 and has more than 35 dates on the schedule, wrapping at Charlottesville, Va.’s John Paul Jones Arena Nov. 3. The presale starts Feb. 6 at 10 a.m. at www.stapletonfanclub.com with public tickets going online Feb. 9. Volume 1and Volume 2 were released last year, following Stapleton’s 2015 double-platinum solo debut, Traveller. The “A” from From A Room references Nashville’s historic recording venue RCA Studio A.
