UNIVERSAL CITY, CALIF (CelebrityAccess) Feld Entertainment and Universal Brand Development have announced the multiyear arena tour “Jurassic World Live” which will soon be built and rehearsed at Feld’s studios in Florida.
The announcement comes on the heels of the successful “Jurassic World” and prior to “Jurassic World” Fallen Kingdom,” arriving in theatres June 22. “Jurassic World grossed more than $1.67 billion worldwide making it the fourth-largest movie release of all time.
No dates have been announced but it is scheduled to launch fall 2019 in the U.S. and will tour globally, according to a press release. It will feature “a herd of life-size dinosaurs extending up to 40-feet long.”
The show will take advantage of projection maps and attendees will be transported to Isla Nublar, where all that fun happens in the movies, and will incorporate “sophisticated animatronics and performer-operated characters.”
