LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) Phish has announced its summer dates with the band traveling from Nevada to North Carolina and back again, with dates ending Aug. 31.
The tour follows the band’s “Baker’s Dozen” shows at Madison Square Garden last year – 13 shows that all sold out, with the historic occasion marked by a banner that now hangs in the iconic building. The band performed 26 unique sets for a grand total of 237 songs.
“What I saw,” wrote The New York Times’ Ben Ratliff, “was a purposeful band in energetic form, better than I’ve seen and heard recently, more willing to let songs assume their own proportions, and going far into its own catalog.”
Phish has announced 21 shows, kicking off with two performances at the Lake Taho Outdoor Areana at Harveys July 17-18 and wraps with the band’s tradtional ending shows in September at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colo.
