VIRGINIA BEACH, VA (CelebrityAccess) Spectra by Comcast Spectacor, facility manager for the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts in Virginia Beach, Va., has entered into an agreement with Nashville-based National Shows 2 (NS2) and partner 191 Touring to increase performances at the PAC.

“We’ve sought opportunities to create sustainable partnerships throughout our history of promoting shows in Virginia, and I’m honored to partner with the Sandler Center,” Darin Lashinsky, CEO of NS2, said in a statement. “We look forward to combining forces to bring a wide array of entertainment to the Hampton Roads area.”

191 Touring recently presented the Lee Brice and Justin Moore tours, along with one-off events including artists such as Dustin Lynch, Dwight Yoakam, Alabama, Casting Crowns, and Mercy Me.

“We are excited to be entering into a partnership with some of the industry’s best,” Spectra’s David Semon, GM the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts, said in a statement. “The Sandler Center has been producing world-class events for the past ten years and this partnership will enable us to increase the number of quality performances here at the theatre for years to come.”

All operations, marketing, and day-to-day business involving the co-promotions will continue to be managed locally by the theatre’s existing staff, according to the announcement.

The 1,300-seat Sandler Center recently celebrated its 10th anniversary, debuting Nov. 3, 2007.
