LONDON (CelebrityAccess) Geoff Meall, former head of UK Music at UTA in London, has joined Coda Agency, also based out of London.
Meall was also managing director at The Agency Group, where he had been since 1992, and which was acquired by UTA in 2015. His departure from UTA was signaled in Novmember.

Alex Hardee, partner at CODA, added, “It fills us with great pride that someone of Geoff’s experience, influence, and standing in the music industry has joined CODA. He will bring a breadth of musical knowledge to CODA that will only compliment and strengthen the existing management team. It’s a shame he is a Scouser, otherwise it would have been the perfect addition.”
CODA, which partners with Paradigm Talent Agency and which launched a joint venture with Independent Talent Group last year, has a roster that includes Liam Gallagher, The xx, Imagine Dragons, Sia, Rag’N’Bone Man, Ellie Goulding, Take That, The Prodigy, Bon Iver, Chvrches, Shawn Mendes, Years & Years, Bastille, and Fever Ray.
Meall’s roster is forthcoming; at UTA some of the acts he represented included Muse, Paramore, and Super Furry Animals.
