While the world pontificates about Taylor Swift stadium dates and when Justin Timberlake will announce his tour, there is another artist that has quietly announced it is going to travel the country: Sugarland.
The duo of Jennifer Nettles and Kristen Hall are gearing up for a 2018 arena tour. It’s just not known when, but it is known where: Allentown, Atlanta, Bakersfield, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Des Moines, Grand Rapids, Louisville, Las Vegas, and many others. And, yes, Sugar Land, Texas. Fifty-one dates in all, according to the band’s website. Although venues are yet to be announced, CelebrityAccess has learned it will be arenas, which really isn’t much of a shocker.
Neither is the “Still The Same” tour, which was basically announced by the duo as early as Nov. 5 on Bobby Bones’ radio show.
That was followed by a Nov. 8 announcement that the tour would support “new music.” But the promotion began in earnest New Year’s Eve when Sugarland performed “Still The Same” on Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve.
This will be the first time Sugarland has toured since it took a hiatus in 2013.
And now for the moment we’ve certainly been waiting for… we are headed to a city near you this summer!!!
