OAKLAND, CA (CelebrityAccess) – Pandora, the number one streaming platform in the US, is now allowing listeners on their ad-supported tier to play songs, albums and playlists on-demand by providing them with a complimentary session of Pandora Premium.
Listeners will now have the option of choosing to view a fifteen-second video ad in order to unlock a session of the streaming platform’s Premium Service.
This latest trial option is intended to answer the request of Pandora’s ad-supported listeners, who have frequently expressed their need to access the platform’s on-demand listening services.
According to Roger Lynch the President & CEO of Pandora “These new features address that need by marrying rewards-based advertising with the best-in-class on-demand experience we’ve created with Pandora Premium.”
Launched earlier this year, Pandora Premium is set up to combine the established niche-radio aspect of Pandora with the option of a more tailored, specific listening experience similar to that used in other on-demand music streaming services designed to create a personalized smooth autoplay experience.
