LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) – December 12, 2017 – BMG recently announced it will be promoting Allegra Willis Knerr to Vice President of Film & TV Licensing.
Working out of Los Angeles, CA, Knerr will continue to optimize workflows and guide the output of the company’s synch licensing team, as well as taking on new duties overseeing day-to-day operations within the company’s Film and TV Licensing department.
No stranger to TV and film licensing, Knerr worked at LA-based management company Bug Music beginning in 2009 before that company’s acquisition by BMG several years later, and has gained significant industry experience over the years as she has worked as an executive to pull in, groom, and maintain talented team leaders at the company’s various locations.
BMG’s Global EVP of Licensing & Marketing, Patrick Joest spoke enthusiastically of the appointment saying: “With Allegra’s profound knowledge of both the Film & TV licensing business and the company’s catalog, she has been instrumental in constantly delivering on BMG’s commitment of being an exceptionally transparent and fair service provider to artist and synch clients alike.”
In the wake of Knerr’s appointment, BMG has also promoted Megan Goldstein to Sr. Director of Film & TV Licensing, Chris Etscheid to Sr. Director of Film & TV Licensing Administration as well as Corey Brulé to Sr. Manager of Film & TV Licensing.
