BROOKLYN (CelebrityAccess) — Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment has added two senior executives — Elizabeth Brooks, who joined the organization as Chief Marketing Officer and Marilyn Hauser who was named Senior Vice President of Programming for Barclays Center beginning Dec. 18.
Hauser will oversee the day-to-day booking of Barclays Center with an eye towards developing original event concepts for the arena. An entertainment industry veteran, Hauser comes to her new post after a stint at Live Nation where she served as Senior Vice President of Talent Programming and managed special projects for the New York City and Philadelphia offices.
Prior to Live Nation, Hauser oversaw booking for Prudential Center as well as all aspects of event marketing, promotion, and publicity. Before Newark, she spent 25 years at the Palace of Auburn Hills in Michigan where she led programming and marketing for The Palace, DTE Energy Music Theatre, Meadow Brook Amphitheatre, and the Detroit Pistons. Hauser will report to Keith Sheldon, EVP of Programming for all BSE venues.
Elizabeth Brooks joins the BS&E team from Sopris Capital Associates, where she served as CMO and Executive in Residence for the private equity firm. Previous experience includes terms as Senior Vice President of Content & Marketing for Live Nation Entertainment, and CMO of RealD, the global leader in 3D cinema. Brooks reports to BSE CEO Brett Yormark.
“I am excited to solidify our marketing and programming departments with the additions of Elizabeth and Marilyn,” said Yormark. “We are now primed to support and continue BSE’s rapid growth with their diverse backgrounds in sports, entertainment, music, and technology. Both Elizabeth and Marilyn have proven success in their areas of expertise and will be strong leaders for our team.”
