LONDON (CelebrityAccess) — Global EDM and nightclub brand Ministry of Sound has announced a new joint venture with Coalition Talent, the London-based booking agency.
The two companies say that the new JV will be a vehicle to allow them to pool their resources to “develop and implement a range of new live events and brand partnerships.”
As a part of the agreement, the team that produces events for Ministry will relocate to Coalition’s London offices.
Founded in 1995, Coalition was initially focused on representing artists and producers in the world of EDM before expanding their client roster. The company was acquired by The Agency Group in 2014, but after TAG was acquired by United Talent in 2015, Coalition is once again independent.
“I couldn’t be more proud to enter into this joint venture with Ministry Of Sound. This iconic brand has been a huge part of my journey in the music industry, from working with them on talent through to more than a few lost nights at the club! We look forward to welcoming the Ministry Of Sound events staff into our brilliant team here at Coalition, our joint focus will be to maximise opportunities for their current offering, and develop additional products to reach new markets, as well as more extensive partnerships with touring DJs and live artists,” Coalition’s Guy Robinson said in a press statement, per Music Week.
