LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Los Angeles-based management company Monotone has named Matt Pollack and Brett Williams as co-General managers.
Williams will continue to be based out of the company’s Los Angeles offices and Pollack will oversee the company’s New York offices, with both reporting to Monotone Chairman and CEO Ian Montone.
“Matt and Brett work tirelessly for our clients and the company and bring so much experience and passion to Monotone,” Montone said. “This promotion is simply a validation of the leadership role they’ve been playing within the company for years.”
Both Williams and Pollack joined the company in 2007. Williams previously served as an artist manager and came to Monotone with a small roster of artists, while Pollack comes from a marketing and promotion background, with tenures and both major and indie labels.
“The entire Monotone team’s desire and talents for driving success are unparalleled,” Pollack said. “I am thrilled to be apart of this next chapter in our company’s growth.”
In addition to Williams and Pollack, Monotone also announced the promotion of Brian Cross to lead the company’s live and touring businesses. In his new role, Cross will oversee touring strategy and development for all Monotone clients.
