In her new role, effectively immediately, Chou will report to Simon Robson, president of Warner Music Asia.<\/p>\n
Based in Taipei, Chou joins the label from Money101 Taiwan where she served as the company’s MD. During her time there she turned the financial services company into a household name in the country, helping to significantly grow its revenue and market share in the process.<\/p>\n
She has also worked at Ogilvy & Mather, Grandviewer Technology, Vistagic Advertising, Apex Communications and Edelman PR & Digital.<\/p>\n
Robson said: \u201cRuby brings a huge amount of brand marketing experience to our company and is well-positioned to help our artists cut through in the attention economy. She also has great leadership skills and is well-placed to guide our team in Taipei as it continues to develop.\u201d<\/p>\n
Chou added: \u201cGetting to lead the incredible Warner Music Taiwan team is a huge honour for me. I\u2019ve always been a storyteller, working with brands to connect them with consumers.
