Wilco Releases New Song To Benefit Southern Poverty Law Center

(CelebrityAccess) — In the wake of the tragic, racially charged violence in Charlottesville, the band Jeff Tweedy and Wilco have released a new song to benefit the Southern Poverty Law Center.

The song, "All Lives, You Say?" is available for download on Wilco's Bandcamp page, in exchange for a charitable contribution.

Released just three days after a white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, the song takes a twangy poke at the conceit of the "All Lives Matter" movement represented by the so-called Alt Right.

"My dad was named after a Civil War general, and he voted for Barack Obama twice. He used to say 'If you know better, you can do better.' America – we know better. We can do better," Jeff Tweedy said in a statement.
