Stovall Resigns As Head Of Blues Foundation

Howard Stovall, executive director of the Blues Foundation for more than five years, resigned from the nonprofit organization on June 24 after its executive committee abruptly asked for and received his resignation. Pat Mitchell, director of communications and education for the Memphis-based organization, has been named interim director. A permanent director is expected to be named by the end of the year.
