Thema1, the German web site that created a frenzy when it offered a ticket to Madonna's sold-out Berlin concert in exchange for sex, has selected a winner – 26-year-old "Aaron" from Frankfurt, Germany. He will spend the night with the web site's columnist Shelley Masters.
"The demand was so great that our computers crashed, publisher Bernd Heusinge told Reuters, noting that applications were sent in from Canada, Mexico, Singapore, the United States, Belgium and Italy.
The Material Girl's Berlin concerts sold out within minutes in April, with tickets going for a German record price of up to 250 marks ($110) each.
