NASHVILLE (CelebrityAccess) — Singer-songwriter Ray Stevens announced that he has broken ground on a new music venue in Nashville, that's scheduled to debut in early 2017.
Dubbed CabaRay, the 27,000-square-foot facility is currently under construction in West Nashville at 5724 River Road. The venue will feature a 700-seat showroom for live concerts, including a dining area with a full service kitchen, with upstairs and downstairs bar areas. As well, the venue will include ticket and management offices, restrooms, a gift sharp and a parking faciliy.
"I'll be doing shows at the CabaRay, of course, but we'll also be booking other name acts," Stevens said. "I think this is going to be a great hot spot for tourists visiting Nashville."
Stevens also noted that he planned to relocate his Ray Stevens Music offices — currently on Music Row — to the CabaRay. The building will also house a recording studio and video production area. – Staff Writers
