
Sultry voiced jazz singer Peggy Lee died in her Los Angeles home on January 21 of a heart attack. She was 81. In a career spanning 50 years, she won two Grammy awards – "Is That All There Is?, for best contemporary female vocal performance in 1969 and a Lifetime Achievement Award in 1995. Included among her hits are "Fever," "The Way You Look Tonight" and "Big Spender."
