SYDNEY, NSW (CelebrityAccess) — Sir Paul McCartney is set to announce that he will be touring Australia for the first time in more than 2 decades.
The tour's promoter, Frontier, teased the tour on their Twitter, stating that Sir Paul will make an official announcement about the upcoming December spin during a live Q&A session on Facebook on Wednesday.
In addition to his Australian dates, McCartney is also expected to perform at least one show in New Zealand during the run.
McCartney has only toured Australia three times in the past, most recently in 1993. A planned 2002 tour was canceled after a deadly terrorist attack in Bali left more than 200 dead.
