House of Blues is scheduled to open its latest nightclub/restaurant in downtown San Jose, Calif. next summer, a year after the opening was first projected.
The site is an old Woolworth's store that has been vacant for the past three years.
The new nightclub's capacity will be a little more than 1,000, with a 250-seat restaurant. It will also have a store selling HOB merchandise as well as merchandise from performing bands.
Construction could begin this summer.
