High Court Rejects Elton John's Appeal

London High Court Judge Justice Ferris turned down Elton John's request to appeal his April decision, when Ferris threw out John's $19.5 million claim against his accountants, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Andrew Haydon, former managing partner of John Reid Enterprises Ltd., John's longtime management company, over touring costs (CA, April 11). The decision applied only to John's lawsuit against PricewaterhouseCoopers. John's lawyers plan to seek permission to petition the Court of Appeal.
