Cobain's Diaries To Be Published This Fall


The bidding war is over. Riverhead, a division of Penguin Putnam has acquired the
rights to publish the 23 notebooks (about 800 pages) of Nirvana's Kurt Cobain for
nearly $4 million. The book will be published in November; proceeds will go to
Cobain's estate.

Cobain committed suicide in 1994. He was 27.
