Charlie Watts Spearheads Jazz Club Benefit

Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts, a patron of London's Vortex jazz club, is spearheading a fundraising effort to keep the club open. Cleo Laine and Johnny Dankworth head a bill of more than 40 musicians set to perform at the January 10 benefit jazz concert in London at Ocean in Hackney. The goal is to raise $145,360 (£100,000) needed to keep the club open.
