The Charlie Daniels Museum, chronicling Daniels' long career opened in downtown Nashville yesterday (June 14).
Memorabilia and photos include his Grammy, CMA and ACM awards. Guitars belonging to the late Ronnie Van Zant of Lynyrd Skynyrd and the late Toy Caldwell of the Marshall Tucker Band will be on display, along with a guitar belonging to longtime Daniels sideman Tommy Crain.
"To have a chance to outline my career with my own museum is something I never thought possible," Daniels said. "It is both an honor and a blessing to be able to share my career and my favorite memories with the fans."
Daniels was on hand for the opening and performed with his band.
