Manager-turned-record company executive Will Botwin was upped to president of Columbia Records, replacing Don Ienner, now chairman. He was previously executive VP/GM. Before joining Columbia in 1996, Botwin was an artist manager for 15 years. Some of his clients at his Side One Management in New York included Steve Earle, Los Lobos, John Hiatt and Lyle Lovett.
