LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — James Bond’s ‘Spectre’ and Charlie Brown’s ‘The Peanuts Movie' kept the two top spots at the Box Office this week.
“It was very astute of Sony and Fox to pick early November for ‘Spectre’ and ‘Peanuts’ so they have two weekends before ‘Mockingjay – Part 2’ opens,'” said Paul Dergarabedian, senior media analyst for Rentrak. “The holds on those two movies were quite strong.”
“There is a preponderance of films all aimed at the same audience, which is just making it very tough for a lot of the original content out there trying to rise above the noise and get noticed in this marketplace,” Dergarabedian added.
