B52's singer Fred Schneider is taking part in clinical trials to test a new treatment for glaucoma in Scranton, Pennsylvania, with a procedure known as Pneumatic Trabeculoplasty, or PNT. Schneider called it "music to his eyes." "The PNT device lowered the intraocular pressure behind my eye," he says, "and I'm hopeful that it might be the answer hoped for by millions who are affected by glaucoma."
