NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — British indie-poppers Bastille stopped into the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday night to perform their new single “Bad Decisions.”
The moody, yet anthemic performance in a darkened studio and which included a surfeit of backup singers, trod on the familiar thematic grounds of breakup blues, but prompted host Jimmy Fallon to describe the performance as “powerful.”
“Bad Decisions” is the latest cut from their most recent studio LP, “Doom Days” which they released in June via Virgin EMI Records.
Rhian Daly of NME described the new album as “a vivid snapshot of humanity and an imaginative, adventurous leveling up from one of Britain’s most influential bands.”
Bastille are lined up to support Doom Days with a North American tour which is set to kick off on Sept 27 with a concert at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT.
