(CelebrityAccess) — Punk legend Iggy Pop teamed up with members of house band The Roots to perform his latest hit “James Bond” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
The Stooges singer even managed to find a shirt for the performance, which was backed by trumpeter Leron James and Sarah “Noveller” Lipstate on guitar, with Questlove on the drums.
James Bond is the latest cut from Iggy Pop’s 18th solo album “Free” which he released earlier this month via Caroline International/Loma Vista.
As of yet, Iggy hasn’t announced any live shows in conjunction with the album, but it’s not a stretch to imagine that there are some tourdates on the horizon.
