NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — The Grammy-nominated rock group Goo Goo Dolls made their Late Show debut on Tuesday night to perform the title track off of their forthcoming album “Miracle Pill.”
The Dolls, including founding members guitarist/vocalist Johnny Rzeznik and bassist/vocalist Robby Takac, also features Brad Fernquist on guitar, mandolin and backing vocals; Jim McGorman on keyboards, guitar and backing vocals; and Craig Macintyre on the kit.
The group is best known for their 1995 breakthrough album “A Boy Named Goo” which included hit singles “Named” and “Naked” as well as “Slide” and “Iris” from their 1998 album “Dizzy Up the Girl.”
Goo Goo Dolls are gearing up for the release of their twelfth studio album “Miracle Pill” which is due to for release on Capitol in September.
The Dolls will hit the road with a supporting tour, starting October 25th with a performance at Bass Concert Hall in Austin Texas. The tour will run through November before wrapping up at Queen Elizabeth Theater in Toronto on Nov. 25th.
