Amy Schumer Performs Despite Bout Of Morning Sickness, Announces Cancellations

NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) A pregnant Amy Schumer took the stage last night in Tarrytown, N.Y., despite a severe bout of vomiting beforehand and delivered her standup routine with a garbage can by her side.

Despite the valiant effort, Schumer has announced that she has canceled at least some of her upcoming shows. Schumer is still scheduled for the Hippodrome Theatre in Baltimore this Friday, according to her website, but it hasn’t been very active since 2016. A Live Nation representative was not available for comment at press time.

Schumer’s performance at Tarrytown Hall Music Hall was hampered by hyperemesis gravidarum, or severe morning sickness, which causes frequent waves of nausea, dehydration, vomiting and weight loss, according to Hollywood Life.

Schumer proved her mettle, posting a pre-show vomiting bout that is about as graphic as a vomiting video can be.
