LONDON (CelebrityAccess) – The Westminster Coroner’s Court revealed today (Sept. 7) that Cranberries singer Dolores O’Riordan died of an accidental drowning due to alcohol intoxication.
According to The Associated Press, O’Riordan was found submerged in her bathtub at a London hotel on Jan. 15. Toxicology reports indicated her blood alcohol level was four times the legal limit for driving at the time of her death.
Coroner Shirley Radcliffe also confirmed that there was no evidence to suggest self-harm or that the event was “anything other than an accident.”
