KENTUCKY (CelebrityAccess) – Bob Dylan’s newly debuted Heaven’s Door whiskey company is being sued for trademark infringement by Kentucky Distillery Heaven Hill.
According to The Associated Press, a lawyer for Heaven Hill sent a cease-and-desist letter to Dylan’s Chicago-based company back in April, citing similarities between their logos. Heaven’s Door lawyers responded by indicating that they did not plan to change or comply with the Distillery’s demands.
As such, a lawsuit was filed Friday in U.S. District Court in Louisville. Heaven Hill claims that it has used the trademark for more than 80 years.
