MANILLA, Philippines (CelebrityAccess) — Warner Music Group announced the promotion of Sarah Ismail to the role of Managing Director of ADA Asia, the regional office of WMG’s independent label and artist services division.
In her new role at ADA, Ismail will report to Chris Gobalakrishna and Jonathan Serbin, Co-Presidents of Warner Music Asia as well as Cat Kreidich, President of ADA, while working closely with other ADA team leaders around the world.
Initially, she will continue to be based in Manilla but will eventually relocate to ADA Asia’s office in Hong Kong, where she will play a role in ADA’s expansion plans in the region.
Ismail first joined Warner in 2019 and was quickly promoted to the role of Regional Marketing Director for Greater China & South East Asia, taking point on operations in the Philippines, where she helped to break artists such as Lola Amour and Dilaw.

In addition, ADA Asia also announced the addition of Thuan Tran, who has been named label manager in Vietman. Thuan joins ADA after working for Zing MP3, Vietnam’s leading music streaming platform.
