NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — Music discovery and streaming service SoundCloud announced that Tom Sansone has been appointed as the company’s new Chief Financial and Operating Officer.
In his new role, Sansone, who is based in New York, will guide SoundCloud’s corporate development, M&A, financial performance, and capital structuring, reporting to CEO Eliah Seton.

Sansone brings more than 20 years of relevant financial and operations experience in the technology and music industry to his new role. He most recently spent seven years as the CFO of Kobalt Music Group, overseeing the label’s restructuring and profitable growth, capital planning and successful sale of the businesses.
Before Kobalt, Sansone served as COO and CFO of the online retailer Gilt Groupe for 8 years, leading the company through a period of growth. His resume also includes roles at accountancies Arthur Anderson and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
