NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — Comedian Dave Chappelle has been announced as the latest artist to be featured in Live Nation’s Broadway residency series when he takes the stage at Lunt-Fontanne Theatre this summer.
Produced by Live Nation, the Araca Group and EBG, Chappelle is lined up to perform at the theater on five consecutive nights, starting on July 9th.
Chappelle joins the ranks of artists who have performed as part of the residency program which includes both Morrissey and Yanni, with Mel Brooks, Regina Spector and Criss Angel lined up to perform as well in the coming weeks.
Earlier this year, Chappelle was announced as the recipient of the prestigious 2019 Mark Twain Prize for American Humor, which he will receive during a ceremony at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. on Oct. 27th.
Tickets for Chappelle’s Broadway shows go on sale Friday.
