CHICAGO (CelebrityAccess) Billie Eilish fans in Chicago are unhappy after a pair of shows were upgraded from the Aragon Ballroom to one at the United Center, putting some patrons farther away from the stage without their knowledge.
Eilish fans originally bought general admission tickets for the Aragon Ballroom, which included the efforts of going through Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan Program. only to be delegated to section 300 at the United Center without warning, according to Ticket News. One fan, Amanda Hoffman Luke, said she bought presale tickets for the show in February and only found out yesterday that the tickets had been switched, long after planning on driving to the show from Ohio and booking a non-refundable AirBnB. There was no change in pricing.
thanks! now i have seats all the way in the back of the arena 😍 that’s exactly what i wanted & paid for 😍🤗

“So I went what [from] what would have been floor seats since we were camping out, to the very last row in the highest section of the stadium,” Luke told Ticket News. She said she received a response from Ticketmaster that said, “We can attempt to pull GA tickets for you once the onsale begins at the new venue, but we can only cancel your current order. Sorry for the trouble,” adding, “we do apologize, but we’re unable to make exchanges between two different venues, so the only other option is to provide a refund.”

The United Center has not announced a time for a new on-sale date for the June 9 show.
