NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — Blackbird Presents announced that industry veteran Joe Litvag has been named a partner at the firm and President of Live Entertainment.
In this newly created post, Litvag will lead Blackbird’s live entertainment division, including the development of new live events with a focus on concerts, music festivals and tours. Litvag will be based in the company’s New York headquarters and will report to Blackbird Presents CEO Keith Wortman.
“Joe’s deep experience in creating, building and executing a range of business plans and projects in the live music industry is extraordinary. The respect and admiration he has across our industry makes him the ideal person to lead Blackbird Presents in our next phase of growth,” says Wortman.
Prior to joining Blackbird Presents, Litvag did a 15-year stint at AEG, serving most recently as Senior Vice President, but he left the company last September. Previously, he was Vice President of Concerts at Contemporary Productions/SFX Entertainment.
