PHOENIX (CelebrityAccess) — Police in Phoenix have arrested three men in connection with the theft of guitars from the rock band Lamb of God earlier this month.
According to local CBS affiliates 3TV/CBS5, officers arrested 62-year-old William Widener and 51-year-old Michael Blakeslee in Mesa, and 34-year-old Justin Petersen in connection with the theft.
The arrests occurred after the men were alleged to have attempted to sell the guitars via an online app and at a pawnshop.
The three men have been charged with theft and trafficking in stolen property.
The guitars have not been recovered and police say that part of the investigation is ongoing.
Lamb of God Guitarist Willie Adler posted images of the guitars, including his primary instrument “beloved Warbird,” to social media earlier this month. The guitars were stolen from the band’s trailer on Sunday, May 2, shortly after they launched a tour.
