INDIO, CA (CelebrityAccess) — On Friday, Goldenvoice announced that French singer-songwriter and producer Héloïse “Chris” Letissier, known professionally as Christine & The Queens, was dropping out of the festival’s second-week lineup due to a death in the family.
“We regret to inform you that Christine (of Christine and the Queens) lost her mother on Tuesday and will be unable to perform this week in the USA.”
Chris was scheduled to perform at Coachella on Saturday and is currently on the road in support of her second studio album Chris, which was released in September via Because Music.
Chris is next scheduled to perform at Corona Capital Guadalajara in Mexico on May 11th, with additional shows planned for the Concord Pavilion in Concord, Canada, Red Rocks in Morrison, CO, T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and the Boston Calling Festival before they return to Europe for the summer festival season.
