PUERTO RICO (CelebrityAccess) Hilda Rodriguez, mother of murdered Puerto Rico trap artist Kevin Fret, has reiterated her allegations that fellow Puerto Rico artist Ozuna and his manager ordered the death of her son.
The investigation into the death of Fret is entering its third month. Rodriguez first alleged Ozuno and his manager, Vicente Saavedra, of ordering her son’s death earlier this month; neither man is a suspect in the killing.
“I know that it was him (Orzuna) who ordered my son to be killed, together with Vicente Saavedra,” Rodriguez said earlier this month. “Orzuna carries this in his conscience.” She reiterated her allegations on Monday during Puerto Rico’s “Lo Sé Todo” television show.
The openly gay Fret apparently had an “intimate relationship” with Ozuna, according to Rodriguez. Before Fret’s untimely death, the singer had apparently gotten hold of a leaked pornographic video that Ozuna appeared in as a minor, according to Billboard. Fret did not extort Ozuna for money, according to Rodriguez, but simply asked Orzuna to be in one of his songs.
“The only thing Kevin asked of him was to help him sing as a featured artist on a song,” Rodriguez told radio talk show host Samantha Love. “Ozuna [allegedly] said, ‘No, I’m going to give you money and I want you to send me the link so that I can erase the video. But my son wasn’t the only person that had the video.”
The 24-year-old Fret was shot on the streets of Puerto Rico Jan. 10 and died at a hospital that same day.
